Romeo & Juliet
This year we take to the Oxford Shakespeare Festival stage for our 10th year. In 2026 we will be re-imaging Romeo and Juliet set against the turbulent backdrop of the American War of Independence.
In a world divided by loyalty, honour, and conflict, love becomes both dangerous and defiant. In this retelling you can expect explosive conflict, fierce loyalties, and a land torn apart by divided allegiances. Set in a time when enemies respected strict codes of conduct, a life where honour counted for everything, and a world where our star-crossed lovers will be forced to make choices about their duty to their family, their country and ultimately each other.

The Merry Wives Of Windsor
In this unashamedly comic production of Shakespeare's The Merry Wives of Windsor, Siege Theatre transports the action to the vibrant world of the 1950’s. Hidden behind this nostalgic backdrop of seemingly perfect suburban life, a world of mischief and mayhem awaits.
Hamlet
In the grandeur of 1920s Denmark, amid the echoes of the Great War, and the ominous shadow of another conflict, our summer production of Hamlet places the famed Dane at the heart of a world ripped apart by turmoil and political unrest
A Midsummer Nights Dream
Get ready for an unforgettable night of laughter, romance, and enchantment as Siege Theatre presents a brand new production of the Bard’s most beloved and accessible comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
King Lear
Power and madness walk hand in hand through our retelling of this most tragic of tales. As King Lear begins to show signs of succumbing to the weight of his long-held responsibilities he seeks to relinquish the burden onto his daughters, so he can, “unburdened, crawl towards death”.
